I am a York University (United Kingdom) graduate with PhD in Music and native level of English language skills. I teach English, play piano and Guitar and do some other interesting things as well (see below). I can provide tutoring in English (All levels), Polish (All levels - lessons in English), German (Beginners - lessons in English), music (all theoretical subjects/preparation for HE exams tutoring in classical Guitar - all levels - piano - up to intermediate level and Chinese Pipa for foreigners (non-Chinese that is) - Lessons in English), Creative Writing (Plot, Structure, Outline Building, Dialogue, working on an adaptation, editing, pitching to publishers, etc.), Pencil Drawing or any combination of the above (i.e. You may wish to combine two or more of the subjects listed above. For ex. You may just want to learn English but why not to try some Guitar or Creative Writing or maybe just talk about music, literature, art - after all, all lessons with me are in English so no matter what You choose You learn the language.
The place: I can meet at my home (except piano tutoring which must be held at student's place or school), Your home or in the city centre (library, cafe, etc.). A snippet from my CV: My music compositions were performed in such countries as Canada, UK, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Poland and Czech Republic. I am also a holder of many international scholarships (AHRC, Sir Jack Lyons Research Scholarship, Young positivist medal, and more) and prizes (Lutoslawski Award 2004, T.Baird Competition). I also hold a joint PGCE/PGCHE in music education and have a track record of more than 200 hours of teaching in music schools and higher education (both under- and postgraduate). My instruments were classical Guitar and piano (I am Polish, can tutor in Chopin interpretation). I am an author of a scenic adaptation of Camus' 'Stranger' and half way through my first full-length novel. Drawing is my hobby (contact me for samples).
